Bar Crawl Around Disney Springs

Girl in front of Disney Springs Sign

Now that Disney Springs is open, although not 100% there are many restaurants open. Which makes it a perfect time for a Bar Crawl at Disney Springs!

Of course, I arrived right at opening time, wearing a mask! All entrances are corralled with barriers, herding you the “nurses station” to get your temp scanned. It was easy and painless. Please make sure to check the rules and regulations before you go!

Once the formalities were completed I began by just exploring what was open in Disney Springs before beginning the Adult Bar Crawl!

Wine Bar George

One of the more luxurious spots in Disney Springs, Wine Bar George boasts over 150 wines on their menu. Which can be overwhelming for those of us who are not Somms.

You are in luck however, they have Master Somms on hand to explain where a wine came from, about the grape and the vineyard. It is a really cool experience!

I am slightly obsessed with cheese boards, so I was excited to try their full board of 6 cheese and 5 meats and accompaniments. There is a type of cheese on the upper left corner of the image below call Spanish Manchego. Hands down this is the best cheese in the world.

The lovely waitress and I started chatting up the cheeses and she told me about the possibility of sampling a Spanish white wine flight. 2 oz pour.

Each wine was on its own amazing and completely different. From bubbles to earthy to smooth, they hit all the spots of a good flight of wine. By the way, it was customized!!

The Boathouse at Disney Springs

Entrance to The Boathouse with a boat on the front of the building.

Back in the day, many moons ago The Boathouse used to be a nightclub at the former Downtown Disney! Now it is an upscale seafood restaurant, that has indoor and outdoor seating. Out on the dock is an adorable bar, we got the best of both worlds sitting right outside the main dining area, but a view of the water and bar.

The Boathouse does offer an expansive menu, including a raw bar. Since I had eaten my way through a cheese and meat board, I opted for drinks!

Once again, our waiter was great! He understood I was doing a bar crawl and helped picked the best beverage! I opted for the Shipwreck and for my partner in crime he picked another old fashioned.

The shipwreck kinda tasted like a “sex on the beach” but didn’t have the coconut rum which was even better!

Today, he tried several different old fashioned but loved the one from Wine Bar Georges the best!

The Polite Pig

I was a little sad that the Margarita Bar was closed, as well as a few other spots I wanted to hit, but The Polite Pig made up for it.

Of course, I had to get a Grapefruit Margarita and also the Sweet Tea Old-Fashioned. I thought this drink was a little “weak” as it was a pre-mix drink from the tap.

It was very refreshing but for $11 I would have preferred something with a little more bite.

The old-fashioned was sweeter than normal and worthy of the $11 price point!

Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs

Hands down the best drink I had of the night. Frontera Concina is amazing and I could not believe I had such a refreshing and delicious drink.

We were getting a little buzzed, so we had to eat some chips and salsa, which is always good. The green salsa is SPICY, just a helpful tip.

I opted to get the Frida. To be fair, I wasn’t looking at prices and probably would not have ordered this had I looked at it. This drink was everything and more but it was a whopping $25.

Frida is a delicious pink margarita made from some pretty interesting liquors and juices. Included is Casa Dragones blanco tequila, Combier rose petal liqueur, lemon juice, pomegranate cordial, served with a rose petal salt rim.

The rose petal salt rim was the perfect compliment to the strong tequila!

Of course, my partner in crime ordered Frontera Old-Fashioned.

Doing Your Own Disney Bar Crawl

I highly recommend doing a Disney Bar Crawl. There are so many different places to try around Disney Springs.

Of course, make sure you drink responsibly and are able to drive yourself home! But, I would rather stay at a Disney Resort!

If you decide you want to stay on property or a good neighbor hotel I recommend using Magic Lamp Vacations! They are your travel genies and can help plan the most magical vacay!
