Disney Magic Kingdom

Quick Service Restaurants at Magic Kingdom

Overview of Cinderella's Castle at Magic Kingdom

Eating at The Magic Kingdom doesn’t have to break the bank, especially with quick-service restaurants.

Your trip to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will always memorable. In fact, some of my favorite memories come from food, like sitting in the Beast’s enchanted castle or snacking on an ice cream sundae on a bench while watching a castle show.

However, don’t let the memory be of how much it cost you. Saying that we know there are a lot of food options at the park, that are more budget-friendly.

So we decided to start a list of some of our favorite quick-service locations to make your decision a little easier!

Main Street, U.S.A.

Main Street Bakery

Entryway to the Main Street Bakery in Disney Magic Kingdom

We’re walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with a pep in our step thanks to the Main Street Bakery! Our first stop on the quick-service restaurant tour.

This is Magic Kingdom’s Starbucks® location. These zippy espresso drinks, smoothies, and teas are a great way to get a little pick-me-up at any time of the day.

The days can be pretty long in the parks, so no one would judge if you grabbed a nighttime coffee! My favorite is white chocolate mocha for a cloyingly sweet way to start my day.

Casey’s Corner

Unfortunately, this locations is not an option with the limited park hours and reduced capacity.

Located at the corner of Main Street, U.S.A. this quick-service spot takes you back in time to the height of American baseball.

With its selection of ballpark fare, you can’t strike out at Casey’s Corner! Enjoy foot-long hot dogs in classic flavors like chili-cheese or enjoy a unique specialty combination.

They have also recently added plant-based “hot dogs”. Pair with french fries and a large soda and you’ll feel you’ve hit a lunch home run!

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at the end of Main Street USA

Unfortunately, this locations is not an option with the limited park hours and reduced capacity.

What’s more classic Americana than enjoying a sweet, rich sundae or ice cream cone? In my opinion, the sundaes are well worth the wait at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor – especially on a hot day.

This mint-clad parlor features hard serve flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry and fun sundaes. My favorite is the All-American Sundae topped with peanut butter sauce, hot fudge, and whipped cream.

Fantasyland Quick Service Restaurants

Storybook Treats

Our tour of quick-service restaurants continues over to Storybook Treats!

Since we already have you thinking of ice cream, then you’re going to need to go galavanting around Fantasyland. Head over to Storybook Treats!

You can even find the fun Peter Pan DOLE Whip® Float – a lime soft serve with lemon-lime soda. I have also seen one-of-a-kind ice creams and desserts at this location, so it’s always worth checking out this spot during your stay!

The Halloween season brought an Ursula inspired treat, that you have to try. It is A float featuring cream cheese ice cream, blackberry syrup, and coke.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Unfortunately, this is currently a seat down style restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Also not serving breakfast at the moment.

Disney dining reservations are difficult to come by, especially at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom.

Did you know that you can visit the Beast’s castle without having to stalk the My Disney Experience app 180-days in advance of your stay?

Explore the ballroom, West Wing, and rose room for breakfast and lunch. A culinary cabaret awaits you while you nosh egg dishes and indulge in light salads or hearty sandwiches.

The entrées prices are higher compared to the rest of the park but these options are a great way to enjoy the incredible ambiance of the restaurant without sacrificing your park time on dinner.

Gaston’s Tavern

When I am visiting Magic Kingdom I always visit Gaston’s Tavern for a sweet snack. This spot serves a warm cinnamon roll as large as Gaston himself and no visit to the tavern is complete without a LeFou’s Brew!

The cinnamon roll is easily shared with two people and the apple-mango brew combination quenches any thirst.

More recently, they have added the grey stuff cupcake to the menu. The addition does cause the line to be a little bit longer, but totally worth the wait.

Liberty Square

Sleepy Hollow – Quick Service

Sleepy Hollow is a Disney-fan favorite. Two words: Mickey waffle.

I was introduced to this quick-service location on a search for a cup of water during one of my visits. I could not believe that I was missing out on such a gem!

Now I make sure to stop by Liberty Square to sink my sweet-tooth into a chocolate hazelnut Mickey waffle with berries and cream. Not a fan of waffles? Grab a plate of funnel cake instead!

Columbia Harbour House

Columbia Harbour House another quick service restaurant at WDW

Unfortunately, this locations is not an option with the limited park hours and reduced capacity.

A celebration of New England seafood is on the menu at Columbia Harbour House, found across the way from the Haunted Mansion.

Enjoy fried fish with french fries, take a bite into a lobster roll, or dig into a cup of New England Clam Chowder at this unassuming location.

Adventureland Quick Service Restaurants

Sunshine Tree Terrace

Right as you walk from the Castle Hub into Adventureland, you will find a little orange bird atop a sand-colored terrace.

Here you will find the Citrus Swirl, a frozen orange juice and vanilla soft serve combination that some have claimed is better than the popular Dole Whip® at Aloha Isle. Let your tastebuds head for exploration with a tasty float or soft-serve cup!

Aloha Isle – Quick Service Treats

A tropical themed quick service restaurant in Magic Kingdom at WDW

Aloha Isle has become a beacon in Adventureland for one of the most famous treats at Magic Kingdom (possibly within all of Walt Disney World) – the DOLE Whip®.

This pineapple soft serve is so refreshing and reminiscent of the earlier days of the park. Enjoy it in its classic flavor or kick it up a notch with a character-inspired float. Remember, avoid the lines and order on the My Disney Experience app!

Tortuga Tavern

Yarr, mateys! This be the place where gigantic turkey legs sizzle and rum cakes abound! “X” marks the spot at Tortuga Tavern found across from Pirates of the Caribbean.

While the selection of items is limited compared to other sections of the park this spot is a quick, easy option if you’re looking for a quick and easy option while you’re romping around Adventureland.

Frontierland

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

Western style grey building with Pecos BIll Tall Tale Inn Cafe Sign

Don’t overlook this gem. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is a spot that will keep you full!

This is my go-to spot. 9/10 trips to MK will feature a trip to Pecos Bill! I just love their food.

Order your tacos, nachos, and fajitas through their mobile order. Then, it’s your turn to become a culinary cowboy with their Fixin’s Bar! Top your meal with as much salsa, lettuce, guacamole, and cheese as you care to enjoy. I love the chicken nachos with the Odwalla® Strawberry Lemonade Slushy.

Sadly, the toppings bar did remove the free guacamole. You can thank people who freeloaded it. Also, the entire topping bar is closed because of the state of the park.

Golden Oak Outpost – Quick Service

Unfortunately, this locations is not an option with the limited park hours and reduced capacity.

Golden Oak Outpost, western theme building

Yeehaw! It’s time to rustle up some grub at the Golden Oak Outpost.

You can find this diamond in the rough between Frontierland and Adventureland.

Loaded onion rings and waffle fries are the star-ticket of this cart. In a handy container, you can choose to enjoy them on the go or on a nearby bench.

Quick-Service Restaurants in Tomorrowland

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies

Ice Cream and Smoothies retro sign

In almost every corner of Walt Disney World, you can find a spot to grab a spoonful of ice cream.

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies is right around the corner from Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe and across from the Tomorrowland Speedway.

Floats and soft serves are this station’s specialty with character-inspired themes released occasionally! (Seriously, take a look at the “Up” inspired cone – it’s so cute!)

Currently, they are featuring a pumpkin/fall-inspired treat at this quick-service dessert restaurant.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

Our final destination in our exploration for quick-service restaurants lands us at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe!

Traditional food like cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets are available at this port. Those with alternative diets can also enjoy plant-based options or salads.

Since we’re having a meal, why not enjoy a show? Sonny Eclipse is on the microphone every night performing jazzy, out-of-this-world tunes.

Final Thoughts

Quick-service restaurants are an easy option for those bustling around Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

I love that Disney now requires mobile ordering for quick-service restaurants. Once you are notified your meal is ready you can go and pick up your meal.

If you have not enjoyed one of these many hotspots, I suggest you take a part of your Disney day to find a new favorite. Who knows? Maybe you will find a new food favorite!

We would love to hear about your favorite quick service meal or experience, leave a comment below.
